Guidlines

When measuring the available space for solar photovoltaic panels, avoid areas with shade other than short shadows at sunrise and sunset. Although the system produces energy even if the light is weak, it is nothing compared to direct sunlight.

avoid shadows

avoid obstacles

optimize the benefit

The large number of irregular obstacles on the roof prevents the benefit of a regular solar system with good efficiency due to the additional costs of installation in addition to its impact on the production of the system due to the shadows resulting from these obstacles.

You can save a greater percentage of the electricity bill if most of your actual consumption is during daylight hours, because grid-connected systems do not contain batteries to store energy and use it at night, the size of the solar system should not exceed 120% of the hourly consumption rate for daylight hours.
